春天的藍鈴花
如果說安亞伯的五月屬於小巧的鈴蘭花，那位於西岸的西雅圖則是藍鈴花開的季節。我一直對這種藍色的球根鈴形小花情有獨鍾，闊別一年再見到她，真是說不出的愉快。
總覺得那淡淡的藍紫色在春天柔和的光線照射下，散發著一股恬適的風情。
身高不高的她，往往長在步道邊的草坡上，讓我上下班騎車的時候分了心對她直瞧。
這麼可愛的花型，真想趁著夜黑風高的時候偷摘一把回家插。
還是按下這股衝動，春天是給萬物共享的，而不是存在我家客廳呢！

Thank you & bluebells!
I was enchanted when I first time (May 2002) encountered 'the deep blue ocean' in the Wytham Woods. Those are English - bellsopening is smaller than European one, shapes are longer and slimer(some are with 26 bells on one stem) and they also have wonderful subtle scent when the wind comes upon your face.....Anyway I just liked to lie in that ocean forever but then I was told about bluebells'fairy and dared not to disturb.... They seem like to grow under beech woods mostly; you can imagine how I was toxicated by the soft green beech leaves dancing above while the whole drift of bluebells are waving in the sun light....(So.... divine? Some will describe them as a huge carpet though.) The depth of colours seem to me changing every year....perhaps due to the light/shadow porpotion from those beech or sweat chestnut coppice woods. Later I visited the woods very often and even tried to draw them until I left in 2007. I miss them so
much here in the cold Germany that my son who studies in London might pay a visit for me and film them as a Motherday's present to me! Hopefully he will.
We will settle down in Taipei in September. I'll write to you in Chinese then.(So pity that my coumputer here doesn't work with Chinese!)
